Rhode Island Hall/Joukowsky Institute of Archaeology
Providence, RI
Architect: Anmahian Winton Architects
Structural Engineering of the additions and renovations of Rhode Island Hall which is one of the oldest buildings on the campus. This project achieved a LEED gold certification.

African Meeting House

Boston, MA
Architect: John G Waite Associates
Structural Engineering for the restoration of the historic structure built in 1806. Work includes structural repairs, accessibility upgrades and the addition of an elevator tower requiring extensive underpinning of the existing foundations.

Bowdoin College Walker Art Museum

Brunswick, ME
Architect: Machado & Silvetti & Associates
Structural Engineering for the $18 million renovation and addition to a historic building built in the late 1800’s. Structural work includes an addition and reconfiguration of the existing structural framing with extensive underpinning of the existing foundations.
This project was featured in “Architectural Record”.

Structural engineering of the preservation award winning project which consists of restoration of a historic power station. The new space houses the headquarters for the cable network channel Boston Neighborhood Network.

Cambridge, MA
Architect: Kennedy & Violich Architecture
Structural Engineering for the renovation and addition to a historic building built in the late 1800’s. The addition provides offices, classrooms, studios, and a film center. Structural work includes underpinning of the existing foundations and alterations/reinforcing of the existing structure.

Provincetown Art Museum

Provincetown, MA
Architect: Machado & Silvetti Associates
Structural Engineering for the renovation and addition of 40,000 sq. ft. of museum space. The existing buildings date back to the 1800’s. Structural work includes underpinning of the existing foundations and alterations/reinforcing of the existing structure.
This project was featured in “Architectural Record”.

Yin Yu Tang House Reconstruction

Salem, MA
Architect: John G Waite Associates
Structural Engineering sub-consulting for the reconstruction of a two hundred year old Chinese merchant’s house. The house is two stories and is built from a mixture of stone, brick, and timber. The structural framing was reinforced for seismic and wind with minimal impact to the architectural presentation.
