    African Meeting House

    Boston, MA
    Architect: John G Waite Associates
    Structural Engineering for the restoration of the historic structure built in 1806. Work includes structural repairs, accessibility upgrades and the addition of an elevator tower requiring extensive underpinning of the existing foundations.

    Bowdoin College Walker Art Museum

    Brunswick, ME
    Architect: Machado & Silvetti Associates
    Structural Engineering for the $18 million renovation and addition to a historic building built in the late 1800’s. Structural work includes an addition and reconfiguration of the existing structural framing with extensive underpinning of the existing foundations.
    This project was featured in “Architectural Record”.

    Provincetown Art Museum

    Provincetown, MA
    Architect: Machado & Silvetti Associates
    Structural Engineering for the renovation and addition of 40,000 sq. ft. of museum space. The addition is located on top and adjacent to existing buildings dating back to the 1800’s. Structural work includes underpinning of the existing foundations and alterations/reinforcing of the existing structure. This project was featured in “Architectural Record”. This building is the first art museum in the United States to qualify for a LEED rating with a LEED silver certification.

    DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park

    Lincoln, MA
    Architect: Urban Instruments
    Structural Engineering for the 80 ft. long aluminum canopy structure housing the glass visitor station. The structure is constructed of aluminum stressed skin panels.

    Mystic Seaport

    Mystic, CT
    Architect: Oudens Ello Architects
    Structural Engineering of the $35 million expansion for one of the oldest maritime museums.

    Peabody Essex Museum

    Salem, MA
    Architect: Moshe Safdie & Associates
    Structural Engineering sub-consulting for the renovation and addition of 150,000 sq. ft. of museum space at one of the oldest museums in the country, with buildings dating back to the 1600’s. Work included extensive renovations to the existing historic buildings as well as the addition of galleries and gathering spaces.
